Hi, I'm Tim Thurman 👋
I'm an evolutionary biologist and bioinformatician.
Currently, I'm an assistant staff scientist at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I work in the bioinformatics core, writing pipelines and packages to support analysis of high-throughput genomic and proteomic data.
Previously, I was an NSF-PRFB postdoctoral fellow in Jeff Good's lab at the University of Montana. I received my PhD from McGill University, studying the genomics of adaptation with Rowan Barrett and Owen McMillan.
You can check out my GitHub, read my academic work on Google Scholar, or email me.
